This is What Respect Looks Like! Police Officer Honors Fallen Vet
Robert Lee Serling was a resident of a small town in Alabama and he was over 100 years old when he died. While this is not the sort of story that typically grabs headlines, one area police officer wanted to make sure that Robert was shown the respect he deserved.
More than just a small-town resident, Serling was a World WarTwo hero who served in the Pacific. As the man’s funeral procession, Mount Vernon police officer Newman Brazier stood at attention in the pouring rain to honor a fellow veteran whose memory should not be lost.
