Hero Spotlight: Jake Larson

Jake Larson served in WW2 and experienced the unimaginable. He was part of the D-Day invasion on Omaha Beach. What he lived through was a nightmare, but he didn’t hesitate to fight. In fact, he calls himself “the luckiest man in the world” crediting others with pulling him through the war. He may not call himself a hero, but we certainly do. We are happy to share his story in this month’s Hero Spotlight. Watch the video below.

Not only has Larson lived an incredible life, but he achieved unexpected internet fame as an unlikely TikTok star sharing his story with younger generations. He also recounts his World War II experience in his book which you can find here.
