Hero Spotlight: D-Day Veteran Harry Jackson

This month’s Hero Spotlight takes a look at a D-Day veteran who certainly deserves recognition. Harry Jackson is no doubt an American hero. From Alabama to Normandy, Jackson’s story is one of an everyday American who went overseas to do the extraordinary.

Harry served aboard Sub Chaser 1330 during what is known as the Longest Day (the invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944.) This was an important turning point in the war and everyone who was part of it gave more than can ever be repaid.

Harry Jackson is one of these great men, and his story needs to be heard. Unfortunately, only around 2,500 D-Day veterans are still with us. Watch the video below to learn this Hero’s incredible story.
