D-Day Veterans Honored for Their Service in Normandy

The world owes so much to the D-Day veterans who were instrumental in the defeat of Hitler. The invasion of Normandy was a turning point in the war and those who were there sacrificed so much.

There are very few D-Day veterans left today. While over 9,000 soldiers died or were wounded in the invasion, estimates from the National D-Day Memorial website found that there were likely only a little more than 2,500 alive in 2021.

It is so important to show these veterans how much they mean to America and the world. Fortunately, some of these special heroes received a special honor. Check out the emotional video before.
