Chinese American WW2 Veterans Honored in Special Ceremony (Video)

Many of the great American heroes who served during WW II did not get the honor and respect they deserved. During a segregated time in our history, those who fought together stood as brothers regardless of race, religion, or anything else that divided society. Unfortunately, some did not get the recognition they should have at the time. Recent years have seen increasing efforts to acknowledge those who were left out in the past. We told you about a program to award The Congressional Gold Medal to Chinese American WW2 Veterans. Last year, a virtual ceremony was held for these brave men and women. In a new ceremony, some of these great vets were able to finally receive their long-overdue medals in person. Check it out in the video below.

It is great to see these Chinese American WW2 Veterans finally get the recognition they deserve. We sincerely appreciate the efforts of everyone who sacrificed during WW2 and Korea. This includes those who served on the frontline as well as those who managed the homefront. This is why we support a bill called The Greatest Generation Benefits Act.
