Do You Remember These 1940s and 1950s Christmas Songs?
Tis the season where you can’t go very far without hearing Christmas songs. Some people love them. Others might be a little more Grinch-like in their attitude to these festive tunes. The thing that’s surprising is that so many of the most famous Christmas songs are more than 70 years old. The 1940s introduced classics like “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “White Christmas.” The 1950s added more holiday hits like “Santa Baby” and “Frosty the Snowman.” These are only a few of the songs to come out of this great era. Check out our favorite ’40s and ’50s Christmas tunes here.
