WWII Veteran Presented with State Flag

Via WKBN27

Dan King, a World War II veteran and prisoner of war, was presented with an Ohio flag that flew over the state house.

Brandon Jaces from WKBN27 reports that Ohio state senator Michael Rulli visited King and gave him the flag. The Ohio State Senate even issued a proclamation honoring King. King served in Europe during WWII. He was captured and held as a POW during the closing days of the war.

Members of the greatest generation like Mr. King are the reason why we do what we do. He’s a hero. He deserves a secure retirement after all the sacrifices he made for our country.

The Greatest Generation is working hard to pass legislation that will guarantee older Americans like Mr. King the financial security they earned.

Our legislation would provide Americans age 82 and older with:

  • A monthly Social Security increase of $85
  • A 4% annual benefits increase – guaranteed each year
  • Bigger cost-of-living adjustments
  • Financial security and retirement protection

Please, join us as we call on Congress to pass the bill we call The Greatest Generation Benefits Act. We need the support of as many Americans as possible.
