WW2 Vet Honored and Remembered

Dorwin Lee Baker was a WW2 vet who served his country bravely. Recently, at the age of 92, Baker passed away. He was remembered by not only his family but the whole community that came together in honor of his life and his service. While Baker’s passing is sad, the outpouring of love was something beautiful.

Dorwin left school at 17 to enlist and fight for his country. Now, all these years later, his actions were remembered as the community came together to celebrate him. Other area vets and the local Fire department spent the day honoring this American hero. Check out the video below to see the powerful tribute.
