Fitness Motivation from this 100-Year-Old Woman Will Get You Moving

Fitness motivation can be a tricky thing. At the end of the year, we often make New Year’s resolutions to get in better shape, shed some pounds, etc. However, December’s motivation often fails to last through January for many of us. For example, the first half of the month is the busiest time for gyms. After that, the numbers tend to drop quite a bit. It’s hard to stay motivated sometimes, but we found that the video below gives us a good dose of inspiration.

Jean Pugh shares some advice for staying healthy and shows off some of her daily exercise regimen. If you are going to take healthy living advice from anyone, Jean is probably a good place to start. She is going strong after turning 100 last September. Check out the video and let us know in the comments if you think you can keep up with this 100-year-old fitness enthusiast.

We love getting the year started off with some fitness motivation. We also love our seniors and are actively working to give more back to them. The sad truth is that many of our older Americans are struggling to live on Social Security benefits which simply are not enough. This is why we support legislation we call The Greatest Generation Benefits Act. Those who sacrificed so much deserve increased benefits – they earned it. This change to Social Security would be life-changing for many in our community.

Please take a moment to sign our petition telling Congress that you believe our seniors deserve more.
