Drafted in WW2 Germany Before Later Serving the U.S. — One Man’s Story

We don’t often have the opportunity to hear about World War II Germany from the perspective of German citizens. Many who fought in the war did not share Hitler’s vision for the world and were sadly swept into a war that was not their own. The video below shows just such a man. While he was drafted into Hitler’s army, the atrocities that he saw helped to shape his perspective, and later, he would even fight in Korea as part of the U.S. military.
